I am fascinated with this subject. There seems to be more and more "sightings", and more and more people coming forward.
On 10-14-08, then a few days later my husband took another one.. I took an amazing photo in my own front yard, that could not be anything other than something not of this world. What was strange, on that very day , somebody in Belgium took a photo almost identical to mine!
So why does the government insist that they don't exist?
What is your thought on this?
Do you think they are real? If so, why do you think the government says they are not?

I think they are real. While camping as a kid we saw some pretty fascinating flying objects that just could not have been manmade.
I think the government is "afraid" that "we" can't handle the truth.
Would love to see your picture!

I think UFO's are real. I see two options. 1-I think they ARE the government. 2-If indeed there are little purple and yellow polka dotted aliens out there, I have no doubt whatsoever that the government is well aware of this.

Personally, I beleive they are here to help, (at least most of them are) from what I have studied.
There are some known as "grays", who supposedly have some deal with our government, to "abduct" citizens from time to time to study, in exchange for their technology, which is why we are so technologically advanced in the past 30-40 years or so. Those are the 'saucer" looking vehicles, they belong to the grays. And these, supposedly are the abductions we hear about.
Now others, are spiritually advanced as well as technologically and have "ships of light", looks like big balls of light. Those are the ones who are here to help, and who according to some, will make their presence known shortly, so that there is no doubt.
That's just what I read anyway.
I have also read that the government does have its own plan, with something called "project bluebeam", (you can research it by using those words) to project images that look like alien craft , and claim that they are attacking us, in order to put us under martial law. So I don't really know.

The Greys seriously scare the crap out of me.. I have zero desire to ever meet one. There are others that I have read about that are supposedly living amongst us and those ones, I would love to talk to about all of this.
I haven't heard of project bluebeam but will look it up. I like to believe I am a pretty open minded person when it comes to this stuff and for myself, I have a TOUGH time conceiving that any human could just suddenly "think up" or even dream of the way a computer works and put it all together without some kind of outside help.. now it might just be an age thing.. I can totally see how electricity came about, how car engines came about, how gravity came about and how the world "isn't flat" came about. I do understand how computers work but to imagine that any ONE person could figure it out and put it into practice (even with the giant archaic computers)... is BEYOND my thinking unless it was someone with much great technological insight that shared that knowledge.. especially when I think of how FAST it all happened..

Wow... I didn't realize there were different types and everything - I believe in the possibility of aliens as well... and I definitely believe the government would know and keep that info from the public. I haven't ever put much thought into aliens though... I have never seen anything unusual in the skies, and don't know anyone who has (except for you two now!) - but it is very very interesting - I may have to do some reading up on the topic later today

s346.photobucket.com/albums/p424/visions5251/?action=view¤t=123_2310-1.jpgwell, I dint see an IMG link, but there's the URL where it is, maybe that will get you there. Note it is NOT the moon! The moon was on another side of the sky. It just looked like a bright star in the sky, until we saw it on the computer, and this bright star was joined by a second one a few weeks later, now they are both gone. We have seen these "stars" blink on and off on cloudless nites. another guy in Belgium took almost the same pic on that day, and said the same thing, that you couldn't really see it until you put it on the computer. you can see his by going to utube and search for "belgium ufo", if I remember correctly.

Until one comes knocking at my door I don't think about it much. The Phoenix Lights were creepy. When I was a kid in NJ there was a similar light show that ended in a big explosion, no anwsers ever came of that except weather balloons.
I can't wait till the re make movie The Day THe Earth Stood Still comes out. That is as alien as I get most days.
But I don't disbelieve in aliens, that would be arrogant.

I have had some experiences with UFO's throughout my lifetime. Mind you that a UFO is an "unidentified flying object" and I have never had an encounter with an alien (that I know of).
I'm usually selective as to whom I tell my UFO stories to because most people think it's crazy.
Anyway, it's hard to make a long story short but I'll try.
1st experience - I was pretty young. My whole family and some neighborhood kids were driving home from a theme park (Illinois). We saw a circle object with red, blue, yellow lights sitting right above some tree tops. My mom wanted to get out of the car and look at it, my dad did not. All of us kids were very afraid. We pulled the car over but did not get out. There was only one other car on the roadway at the time.
2nd experience - I was driving home from a long road trip with my dad. I was 15yrs old. My dad sighted a silver saucer shaped object sitting right above the center lights of the highway. He told me to watch the object because it had not moved for awhile. It continued to stay stationary until we drove right up to it. It then made a 90degree turn and began following us from the back. Eventually it just disappeared. This was late at night and I do not believe that there were many other cars on the highway.
3rd experience - This was the weirdest experience and the longest. I was 18yrs old. I took a 30min drive to my parents house and while driving I looked to the sky and noticed a fast silver object that seemed to be following me. It turned when I turned, made weird movements, ect. My parents were not home and I felt panicky so I drove to my sisters house. I made my sister drive with me back to my place. At first she thought I was crazy but she soon got freaked out too (because the thing continued to follow us). We got to my place and I made my boyfriend then drive my sister back home. Very strange things continued to happen - the object turned a bright spot light just on our car; it made zig zag movements from one side of the car to the other; it was flying low and we could see the shape very clearly; at one point it even flew toward the back of the car (where I was watching out the back window) at what seemed like the speed of light and then it turned. When we got to my sisters house, the object sat right above the tree top next to her house. She didnt want to get out but I didnt want to sit in one spot (I was completly filled with a sense of fear and panic at this point). On the drive home, more things happend. When we got home it sounded as though a plane was landing on top of the house. Both my boyfriend and I ran outside but did not see anything.
Thats the long short of it. Crazy, right? All I know is that I do my best to not look up at the sky when I'm driving at night. Its been many years since I've seen anything.
My thoughts on the Goverment covering it up is that either they know too much and it's not good - or - they dont know enough yet.

Love2, thanks for sharing! You're not crazy at all.. I can't imagine how I would react if a UFO started following me! That had to be terrifying!

A couple of nights ago at 3am, BIL & SIL were both awakened by the sound of a train that sounded like it was going right over their house, and the house was shaking. "Peanut" (BIL, gotta love Southern nicknames though you'ld expect Bubba) ran outside to look, since they don't have any train tracks near their house. It wasn't windy at all, and the skies were clear. So he went back to bed for an hour until he had to get up for work. SIL said she couldn't sleep, and later that morning she started calling her neighbors (they live in the country), but no one else heard anything. The neighbors would have heard a sonic boom from an aircraft or a meteor. She is still worried about it, and I want to tell her it was a weather balloon, but she thinks I'm weird enough already. Since the weather was clear and calm, it couldn't have been a microburst. Since they never saw anything, it isn't a UFO - or is it

I haven't had any experiences with UFO's but that train your refer to is also a prelude to an earthquake. We were visiting in California it was later on at nite because we had gone to bed. The head of our bed was right against the wall because it didn't have a headboard. All of a sudden we heard what we thought was a train but they have no trains in her neighborhood. About 5 to 10 seconds later we had a big earthquake. That is the first time I have ever heard an earthquake before it struck. I had lived in California all my life so I had some experience with earthquakes. So that might have been what you experienced. Just a thought Weebitty Yes I believe in UFO's and other life forms other than us. Why would we be the only living creatures???
