I have so much to do and have been completely unmotivated all week. I feel like Im just dragging and procrastinating all at the same time. It's cold, I hurt all over, and Im whiney.
On the upside, even though it's cold the sun is shining!

My weekend, oh goodness... Friday, my sister called, her father in law passed away. Funeral was to be Sunday. Ok, so Saturday, my daughter and I left and went to my mom and dads house. We thought we'd then all drive down Sunday morning. Saturday afternoon my dad developed severed stomach pain and ended up in E.R. They admitted him. He has a blockage caused by scar tissue from a previous surgery. So, we spent the rest of the day at the hospital not getting home until about midnight. My daughter woke up about 4 a.m. with food poisoning Sunday morning. By 8 am she was ok to get in the car. She slept the whole time down there. She then slept the whole way back to the hospital where we went to visit my dad. We finally got home tonight. What a weekend

Been dealing with my DH having a sinus infection. He's been miserable for a couple of days now and not getting a lot of rest because he can't breathe. This morning he says he's feeling better, and he can breathe out of one side of his nose. I've been having him flush out his sinuses with saline nasal spray and that seems to be helping. Hope he's over the worst of it,UGH!!!

Jan, Sinus infections are miserable. I've had them It can take a ton of antibiotics sometimes to clear it out. We're back home. We were with my folks from Thursday until last night.

Had to take DH to the doctor for antibiotics to help with his sinus infection.......within 48 hours it was oh so much better!! Glad that crisis is over with! now have to help DD deal with SIL having to have surgery for a small mass on his kidney. They're going to start out with atheroscopic(?)surgery, but after they test it,if it's maglignant, they will cut him open. We are all hoping and praying for the best.

OMG! I've missed a LOT.. Audrey Im so sorry you had to go through all that but Im glad to read that all is well again too! Did they do anything about the scar tissue or will this be a reccuring problem?
Jan! I sure miss talking to you... I can feel Bobs pain.. I have constant sinus infections and even if I take antiobiotics to clear one up, there is another one within a few months.. they make you so miserable.
I've been feeling yucky for two days now but trying to just slog through. The house is a mess (good thing Audrey didn't pick this week to show up in Boise!)... two dogs is much more "interesting" than just one..
Hows that for random babble?

Connie...that is like too "wierd" This is EXACTLY the week I was supposed to be there. Did I give you the dates, or is your post just random? We don't have a new date to come out there, but hopefully soon. As for my dad, I really don't have an answer. He sees the doctor next week. I'll suggest my mom ask that question. I'd thought about it once then promptly fogot. Jan, hows your husband today?

Audrey and Connie: Bob's sinus infection is cleared up,but when he was subbing for the son-in-law(he did have a small mass on his liver which tested as cancer)last thursday night while S-I-L recovers from surgery,Bob damaged his left bicep(think he tore the muscle)while throwing the ball(left-handed bowler)! It looks like someone shoved a huge grapefruit under the skin and it's all black, blue and purple. Probably due to the fact that Bob takes blood thinners for his heart. He has an appointment with a orthopedic surgeon tomorrow to find out more about his recovery options. Guess he won't be bowling for a while, huh?? When it rains,it pores! Stay tuned gang, more to come!
