I love casinos! I especially love 3 and 4 card poker.

Think I'll buy a used golf cart to run my errands instead of using my van, getting to expensive to put gas in it.

I hate shopping for groceries too!! Put in cart, put on counter for cashier, load in truck, haul in house and then put it all away. And my husband says I never get any exercise!!!!!

Happy Mothers day anyway! Hope you had a great one Jan.. I always forget to check this thread to see what's going on with you! lol..
Linda, My dryer has been broke for months.. I probably won't replace it til winter and even then I don't know.. it has been easier to do all the washing, pack it up and head to the laundromat. Everything is done at once instead of my spending everday trying to do laundry. Now Im hanging everything on the line except the "unmentionables"... and it's back to a never ending laundry battle.

I ended up getting a new one - thank God for the stimulus check!! But, it still didn't take us very far.....Two weeks ago our stove top cracked - we've got one of those electric ones with the glass top - the new top and the cost to put it in was a few dollars shy of 500.00.......The dryer was close to 500.00......Our truck won't pass inspection without new rear brakes - that whole "ordeal" is close to 350.00....Our oil heater - which is not even 4 years old and under a service contract had to be repaired and "of course" the work wasn't covered under the contract or warranty and that cost is 285.00.... We just shelled out big bucks for new tires in April.....And none of this even includes the price of my last oil fill up - 600.00 and we had just finished paying off the previous fill up of 670.00....And this is just part of the "unexpected" costs we have had since late March!! ....And we don't use credit cards cause I will never "EVER" get caught in a credit card trap again so all this is out of pocket!!............... Sorry to go off!! It has been a very rough couple of weeks! And I 'm sorry you're without a dryer Connie - that sucks!!......I haven't been to the laundromat in years, but I do agree with you that it does feel good to get the wash done all at once! I can't hang clothes outside though, because I have bad allergies and hanging clothes outside just makes my allergies worse....... Jeez - maybe I should just go back to bed and pull the covers over my head.....
