Welcome! If you like scent be sure to add some to the mixture. I used citrus oil and it smells so good!

this is a great thread. it's fun when people share their own frugal successes! these things, small or large, add up so quickly
i try to find ways to challenge myself. it's fun to be thrifty, and then try to out thrifty yourself! LOL
i'm happy to know i'm not alone when it comes to refusing to willingly pay full price. i'll just wait it out and do without until it goes on sale. (i'm waiting on my favorite kind of preserves right now...it's plain peanut butter until someone puts them on sale)
my newest obsession is the local smoothie shop. they give you 25 cents off if you bring back the styrofoam cup. so far i've thoroughly cleaned and reused it 3 times and it looks good as new. if i reuse it 6 more times it will be the equivalent of getting my next smoothie after that for half off! cha-ching! ;D
all that said, i'd have to answer the question, "How frugal are you?" by saying, i'm frugal, but i'm selective. in some particulars i'm not frugal at all. a large part of my frugality is to offest extravagances in other areas. like when i take a fistful of coupons to the supermarket and save a bundle and then blow the savings on $9 worth of girl scout cookies on the way back to the car. somehow, i get some sort of an offset. or at least the illusion of one. either way, i've got two boxes of cookies and got to support a worthy cause!
