I wasn't sure which category to put this under, but this is what made me curious. So I thought I'd ask here. Please move it if there's a more appropriate forum that I missed.
I don't have a paypal account, but am thinking of signing up with a company that requies one. What type of account should I sign up for? Will the free one do? Or should I go with the next one up for buyers AND sellers?
Not really sure how this works, so any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Lol. Thanks!

I would go with the basic account (don't use your household acct just in case) If you hit a point as a seller where you need a business acct. THEN you can upgrade..

You are allowed to have two paypal accounts under one name. So you can create a basic account and a business account for transactions that require a credit card.

I guess I'm just confused about whether or not I can accept payments with the basic account. It says for BUYERS. Will I still be able to accept payments into a basic paypal account when I cash out?

Yes you can accept payments.. The only difference is that you can't take c/c payments and you won't get charged a fee for the payments you do take.
