Im really fascinated with your story on getting the tons of stuff for pennies. Can you detail for us HOW you do it? Are you using stores that have double coupon days? We don't have any of those around here unfortunately? Are you using a manufacture coupon and store coupons or both.. how are you finding the deals in other words? I always hear about people doing this but haven't been able to pull it off for myself!

First always get the sunday newspaper. Ask any neighbors if you can have their coupons.
I buy all my health & beauty items at CVS or Rite Aid. I posted both of their rebate / extra care programs.
Most times at CVS, their offers are limit 1. In October, it was unlimited, which is when I stocked up.
CVS tells you in their ad if there is a manufactors coupon in sundays paper. You can use a manufactors coupon and still get full price back.
for example -
Colgate is on sale $2.99 You will earn $2.99 back ( for full details check the cvs thread)
I have a coupon $1 off colgate. So I'm paying $1.99, I still get the $2.99 back !
CVS also gives you coupons for $4 off $20.
To pay only 80 cents, here's how I gave my coupons;
say the total was $35
1st I gave $4 off $20
2nd give any manufactor coupons
3rd give ECB (extra care bucks)
anything on sale, such as buy 1 get 1 frees will be taken off last.
always give the $X off $xx 1st when the total is higher. ( anice cashier might let you use 2)
If the store (whichever store) has a sale buy 1 get 1 free and you have a coupon for the same product & your coupon is buy 1 get 1 free .... they cancel each other. you get both free!!
You may not be able to buy the same product, scent ,flavor you would always buy. say pantene is on sale, you'll earn $$ for buying it, but you use tresemme..... what would you do ? BUY the pantene !!
Look around the store, near pharmacy for any coupon books or tear pads. Plan Plan & Plan !
When CVS had the excederian/ doans deal buy $20 get $20 back
I bought the Excederian & Doans. I planned what to use the $20 on. I decide what I want to stock up on.
The trick is to "roll" the ECBs. Thats what I did in October. The colgate was unlimited, earn full price back. I'd buy 4 @ $11.08 wait 2 days & get ECBs. Use that $11.08 to buy 4 more.
I'm really a newbie at this. Some people have done even better than me, lots better.
did I answer ok, or did I confuse you ?

with CVS you get the "money" back in 48 hrs. There are rumors they might start as soon as you buy the qualifing items.
I don't know how it takes w/ rite-aid.
You can shop CVS online & earn extra care bucks.

I will be checking out CVS online today. I usually buy everything ahead of time anyway so it would work out okay as long as the shipping costs don't cancel out the benefits.

Right now if you spend $50, you'll get $10 off plus free shipping. Make sure you sign up for the extra care card 1st. You'd have to wait to get your card before shopping. Many times they have specials online that are not in store. You can earn MORE ecbs. www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gateway/cvsmain
