Even the basic version doesn't sound bad. I know Firefox will save your passwords if you set it up that way, and I think the Google toolbar has that option too; I don't use those because I don't feel comfortable with someone else being able to access all my sites if my computer got stolen, plus I know that I'll forget my info if I don't have to remember it, and then when I need it on a computer that isn't mine, I won't be able to remember.
I like Google's autofill function, though. I wish it filled in more, but it's very helpful in what it does.

Roboform has a version called roboform 2 go. You install it onto your usb drive. I use it for my laptop. You could do the same thing and NOT have the passwords installed on your computer. With the regular version you can also set it up that a password is needed in order for roboform to work at all. So that would prevent anyone using it directly from your computer.
One thing I want to mention because it happened to me recently.. SAVE the email with your activation code. When I upgraded to the newest version a few weeks ago, it reset itself saying I had the basic version... LUCKILY, I rarely delete my email and was able to find the activation code..

Connie- Survey Scout offers its database for free if you buy Roboform. You think that would be worth it? Thanks-Dean(new member)

I let roboform fill everything in but it doesn't save my passwords, I click no for saving. I allow fire fox to save my login details. This way I don't have to worry about upgrading to the paid version. Since the free version will only hold 10 I use the 10 for things I normally don't go and visit daily, just about once a month or so. This way just in case, I will have a back up.

I have the full version but still save everything in Firefox AND on my roboform to go. Thank goodness.. Awhile back I had to completely start over and while I was able to re-download roboform.. ALL my passwords were gone. Thank goodness for the roboform to go.. otherwise I would have been SUNK..
