need help!!!

Granddaughter has to read 10 books and write about the books. is there anywhere you can read these books on line?? without paying?? You have to oder them from the library. OMG they are so hard. So I went to borders site and looked up less pages them 100. I found 10 that were less pages. Now the library is closed. can anyone here help???
