wow, there's a lot of interesting info in that article. thanks for posting it, weebitty
the one i'm most familiar with is the eat local raw honey. that sort of makes sense to me.
but there's one that says: "Melissa, in the bath or a vaporizer, can soothe and reduce the severity of an allergic reaction."
sorry, but if my wife came home and found Melissa in my bathtub, allergies would be the LEAST of my concerns.
(all kidding aside, what the heck is melissa? some sort of herb?)
and i was surprised to learn that 2 glasses of water might alleviate allergy symptoms. i'll try that one next time i have an allergy attack.

I was a little confused on the Melissa thing too?? I hope something helps you all. I get all these e-mails from different dr's and pharmacist that I subscribe too. It gets to be too much at times. I have over 200 e-mails in que waiting to be read now. That is why I post only certain ones that i think will be of benefit to people. You can subscribe yourself but you will get one everyday from now on and they can add up quickly!! but I have been with these particular ones for a few years now and have learned to trust them.

i really appreciate you posting the interesting ones, weebitty! i've read a lot of them and they're usually very informative and interesting. i like when you put up the links b/c there's no way i'm going to ask for more email. it takes so much time just to delete the junk that gets through the filters. i hate email so much i only read it if it's from my wife or Pinecone Research. everything else i automatically manually delete. did i mention i hate email? oh, i did? ok. i wish it into the cornfield.

Will try the water and honey. I love honey. Think I will keep Melissa out of my tub though

Has anyone who tried any of the remedies used to take Benadryll for their allergies? (It doesn't knock me out and during spring/summer I usually take a pill every day or every other day.)

I guess the allergy season is bad EVERYWHERE. People that arn't usually bothered are on over the counter medicine this year. So don't discount that when you wonder if it is bad!! Yes it is! Even the the natural ones may not work this time around but dont' discount them out.
