My name is Jason. I am a 27 year old 911 dispatcher from Jamestown TN and found this site back in the fall of last year. I found it when researching ways to make a little extra money on the side during my down time. I have found the posts on here very helpful and informative. Thanks to all who post on here and share ideas places to look and things to do.

Im glad you decided to join Jason! There was a time I thought about trying to be a 911 dispatcher but then decided it would be a TOUGH job emotionally. I don't think I could handle some of the things you probably have to hear.

Welcome to the board. Its nice to meet you. I agree with Connie, your line of work would be tough emotionally. I guess you have to learn how to separate your job from your own feelings so to speak. I hope that came out right.
