I read a blurb in a magazine I get where there is a new law on blogs for bloggers who get compensation for products (from freebies to payments) for promoting items on their blogs and websites. they must declare in the blog that they are being compensated. Now, I'm not sayin that you will have a fed reading each and every blog, but there is the rule out there, so just beware.

Thanks Chelle! I think I posted something about it in the affiliate section.. Between the FTC ruling and the crackdowns from google, Im seeing a difference... even though I've always been above board..
I can only imagine what it's doing to those who haven't been on the up and up.. but I dont feel bad for those people either!

Now, I'm not sayin that you will have a fed reading each and every blog, but there is the rule out there, so just beware. It should be noted that this is a guideline, not a rule or law. It should also be noted that this does not apply to affiliates of products, unless the affiliate is being paid for more than affiliate earnings, such as being paid to test a product, to review a product, or has received a product for free to evaluate it.
