The Viking - Green Bay game was an exciting one. Brett played one heck of a game. Where are you? I wish I had a winning team to brag about. You and Connie need to be jumping up and down. ;D
Maybe you are. YEA FOR YOUR TEAMS

I am pouting!
I had to babysit the little guy and missed the whole game! On the other hand, the Gophers almost beat the Wisconsin Badger (5-0) this weekend, which would have been great! I think that no one is going to be taking Minnesota as lightly as they used to anymore. The best news is that their Homecoming is against Purdue, which should be a cakewalk.

You haven't taught the little man how to paint up and watch the games?

Really you better get that little guy in front of the TV for football.
We have a chocolate lab that is a little over a year old. When I cheer for a football play she thinks I am cheering for her. She takes one of her toys and runs around the house throwing it with so much exuberance. It is a hoot.
You will be able to catch that game in the future. They will show it again.
Luck to the Gophers. I heard my husband rooting for them one day in the past. My daughter and him were watching a game and I was upstairs working. I thought of you and the Gophers when he cheered Go Gophers.

You sure your husband was rooting for the Minnesota Gophers, and not the "Go Go Gophers, watch em go go go" of 60's cartoon fame? I used to love that cartoon...

When my husband has the remote he does tend to switch the channels a lot. Could have been a cartoon. But when I heard the name Gophers I thought of you and Minnesota football. ;D

Yeah! Minnesota beat Purdue for Homecoming! But then again, everyone beats up on Purdue, even though Purdue has out scored their opponents 59-10 in the first quarter this year; and then they fall apart. Actually, they have no depth and just get worn out by the teams that do; which means most of the other Big Ten teams. Minnesota has to play Michigan next week, and then Ohio State the next - ouch.
Iowa barely beat Michigan to remain unbeaten, while Ohio State beat-up Wisconsin, who barely beat Minnesota last week.
