The Chiefs and Ravens,
I hate to have to say the Chiefs lost. After the first quarter where the Ravens looked like they might win 50 to 0 the Chiefs came back with some great plays. Even a blocked punt. Their defense played well and very few penalties.
Playing their second string quarterback Brody looked pretty good also. I was proud of them. The Ravens are a very good team. Maybe when Cassel gets healthy and back in the game we can win a few. Maybe even a bunch of games.
The game was close until the very end. I have hope the Chiefs may do better this year than I thought.
GO CHIEFS

I hope they make you proud! Any idea when Cassel should be ready to go again?

Well the Sunday game with the Raiders was a real downer. Just had to get into another game. Watched Denver and then the Giants and Cowboys. I like the Giants so at least they won and I enjoyed the game. I am afraid Chiefs, Denver, Raiders, Chargers, Bengals and Browns just are not going to be good teams this year. I like the Giants. Guess I will root for them

Well after watching Denver, Chargers and Bengals they look pretty good. Took them off of my not very good football list. Good Luck Connie. I think Denver looks pretty darn good. ;D I posted this on the Chiefs thread. Can not say anything about the Chiefs. Is just to sad.

Connie Denver looks better than Kansas City. The Chargers look better than Kansas City. Maybe everyone looks better than Kansas City. Because of the Chiefs being such a bad football team the past few years I have not been as involved in football as in the past. But it seems this year I am just accepting the Chiefs again are not going to give me anything to cheer for. So I am enjoying watching the other teams. A lot of good football to watch. Will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

Today the Chiefs play the Giants. This hopefully will be interesting and not just a blow out. I could see it being a 100 to 0 game. I kind of dread watching the game but yet am very curious to see the Chiefs play a very good team.
A bunch of good games today. Am excited to see if Denver can beat the Cowboys. Since Denver is 3-0 and was said to probably not do well this year would love for them to beat Dallas. Maybe 4-0 Connie. Will see how the Chargers do against the Steelers. Greenbay and Minnesota will be fun to watch.
It's almost time for football. ;D

0-4 is not good but
The Chiefs seemed to have improved on some things in the game against the Giants. The games was more exciting than I thought it would be. Who would have thought the Chiefs would have scored those two touch downs in the fourth quarter.
Maybe next year we will have a better team and win some.

That's OK Connie.
You better watch out though. You never know in football. We may have to wait a year or two. But maybe just maybe we can pay you guys and Elway back for all those unbelievable defeats he pulled off against us.
I can not believe I am rooting for the Bronco's when I watch their games. That tells you how much it can affect your football spirit by having a losing team. Just so sad. But hopefully all will change and I can get some competitive spirit back. I should be rooting against you guys. That would be the healthy attitude to have. It will happen. I just hope sooner than later.
I want to he he he back at you.
You just wait. ;D

Well the Chiefs game today against the Cowboys was a heart breaker for me. After watching the Mizzou game against Nebraska and almost crying this game just broke my heart too. I was not going to post. Who wants to hear about losers. But the Chiefs almost did it. Almost just does not get it in football but I sure rooted for them. I do not think it makes much difference whether they lost the game or not. I just do not see them doing anything this year. But I did want them to win. Oh well. Is fun seeing all the old football uniforms. Those Bronco's. We are calling them the Golden Zebras. They are one touchdown away from the Patriots right now. Good game. We will see who wins this one. My husband is now rooting for Denver to win.

Sorry about your Chiefs, my Chiefs lost too, Crazy Horse, Red Cloud and Spotted Tail, but that was a long time ago... They didn't have uniforms, but wore regalia instead - does that count

Thanks for saying something funny Louis.
Poor ole Chiefs. Like I said is no fun to talk about a losing team. Since the game was close decided to post.
I guess we could hope they improve each game. Maybe start winning some and do good next year.
We will just have to wait and see.
