Anyone else enjoying the Town Hall Meeting demonstrations? Is this the next step in the Tea Party movement? I don't doubt for a minute the demonstrators are sincere, or that their outrage is anything less than genuine, but it all seems to follow a script. It seems totally orchestrated. And I wouldn't be surprised to find out the big hitters in the healthcare industry are behind it. They have a lot to lose. Whether it's orchestrated or not, I like the demonstrations. Even if I disagree with most of them, I LOVE the fact that they are standing up for their beliefs and challenging the government. I think there should be a rule that 3/4 of the seats to any Town Hall Meeting be reserved for the opponents of whatever politician is holding the meeting. Too often they're totally packed with sycophants, lobbyists and financial donors. That's phony-baloney orchestration, too. Softball questions, no uncomfortable moments, big waste of time. Here's my musical message to the Town Hall dissidents: www.youtube.com/watch?v=14yEO8nfqxE

There is a lot of evidence that the big players using lobbiest hiding behind fake non partisan groups like 60+ are sending out flyers with how to distrupt instructions. Fox news contributors such a Dick Morris actually advocates terrorizing representative. Google Betsy McCoy, she was a major lobbist who help start and keeps fueling the deather lies along with ex Gov Palin, Michelle Malkin, and the like.
I've been to some pretty heated town hall type meetings in my day and almost always when the yelling starts, from either side, the discussion is lost. Moderates don't want to play that game most times. Hence the old title, silent majority.
A couple of the Democratic Senators took their licks pretty hard and most of them are still standing. It was a bit more civil for the Pres though, but that was to be expected, he is the President after all.
My flash is not up so I can't watch the clip but I will get to it.
