Once again, reality TV has sunk to a low level, and the Spousal Unit is fascinated by this show.
I try my best to ignore the show, but she keeps making comments about the things that the celebrities say and do. When Spencer and Heidi (Montag) Pratt left the show, and I knew they were going to come back - I told the Spousal Unit I really had it with the show! I also feel like Spencer is mocking the Church, and I pray that he pays for it. I would rather listen to Adam sing Ring of Fire.
Then Heidi had to go to the hospital, the Spousal Unit was freaking out, the show host said that Heidi was flown to San Jose for stomach tests. So I told the Spousal Unit that it was announced on Saturday and her condition was not serious, and there are reports that she has left the hospital and is on medication. The saddest part of this whole affair is that the Pratts are under contract to NBC, and will probably be back on the show. (Anyone see a Network building up drama? Reminds me of another reality show that has 8 kids and two separated parents)
Then tonight, when Patti Blagojevich said that she has to drive her children around in a 21 year old car - BULLSH*T!!! That woman was paid an unearned $14,000 real estate commission, and then hired at$12,000 a month with a $40,000 bonus from Blagojevich supporter, who has since been convicted. She also said that the non-profit that she was working for let her go, because of the bad publicity. BULLSH*T again! Her husband no longer had the means to blackmail the non-profit into keeping her employed. These 'poor' people were vacationing in Florida, when he was impeached.
What really makes me upset, was that the Spousal Unit was actually feeling sorry for Mrs. Blackmailovich and her lies. So I popped her bubble of pity, and now she is mad at me again!
I will stick with the Sci-Fi channel, which has many shows I find more believable.
