Usually I change the channel between My Name Is Earl and The Office (the only two network shows I watch). Last week, I couldn't find the remote, so it stayed on NBC. I was playing poker and not really paying attention at first, but little by little the new show Parks and Recreation sucked me in. It stars the hilarious Amy Poehler (sp?) from Saturday Night Live, and must be written by the people who write The Office, because much of the feel and comedy of the show is very similar. I only watched it closely for about ten minutes, but it was really cracking me up. I'm looking forward to watching a whole episode this week! Anyone else check this new show out?

I have to go see if it's online, I haven't seen it yet. I LOVE Amy but hate The Office so I am skeptical, lol.

Yeah, i really like the 2 shows that have aired. I think that it accurately represents the public and piss ant governent officials. Her boss is hilarious-I like the double barrel shotgun mounted on his desk! ;D

I havent seen it yet but have been wanting to. Im not a fan of The Office and it is written by the same folks. However, everytime I see the previews it just looks like a fun show. I do plan to watch it. It's on tonight isn't it?

I think so, and it's on Hulu as well. I don't care for the office at all, or Scrubs for that matter, lol. But it was better than the Office, IMHO.

I thought the bit I saw of last week's show was way funnier than last night's episode, although last night had its moments, too.
Earl was hilarious last night!!!
