My favorite show is My Name is Earl, on NBC.
I just read yesterday NBC is thinking about cancelling the show. What a bunch of MORONS!
The article mentioned that FOX was in line to pick up the show, but who knows how this is going to pan out.
Any other Earl fans?

I love Earl. That and Two and a Half Men are the only really funny shows left

I tried getting into My Name Is Earl, but it just didn't interest me enough. But it looks to be a decent show.
I didn't start watching Two and a Half Men until after it went into syndication, but it's a good show. Although I think it has gotten worse. Every show that revolves around children to provide comedy ends up failing when the child grows up. Now that Jake's older, he's lost the "cuteness factor." I can't help but feel the producers see an end in sight. Hence Charlie getting engaged.

I love Earl. I wasn't too thrilled with the whole season of him being in a coma though. I hope they don't cancel and that if they do Fox will pick it up. We often forget to watch it because it's on at a weird time but we do try to record it and watch it later. Randy is such a crack up you can't help but love the guy.

I gave Earl another try a few months ago and love it now. I think it takes a unique sense of humor to find it funny. I know a lot of people who see it and say it's just stupid. Well yes it is, but it's funny. I love Randy, the things that go through his mind and just comes right out & says. LMAO
A lot of cameo appearances from A & B list celebs too.
It's on every morning here from 8-9. Two episodes but each one picks up during a different time. And they're not always in chronological order, which disappoints me cause with so many flashbacks, that makes it difficult to follow.

glad to hear you picked up on Earl!
great cameos, true! also, i think the soundtracks are remarkable
so many times a scene is backed with just the most perfect song.
i actually had to go get a couple of the songs b/c i couldn't get them out of my mind (in the good way, not in the drive you crazy way)
the episode where Randy falls in love with the Cat Lady was one of those times. the song True Colors was perfect b/c Randy was actually allergic to cats and afraid to let the Cat Lady know.
and the Cat Lady was Amy Sedaris, formerly of Strangers With Candy. she rocked my world as the Cat Lady. just perfect. that's a really great Randy episode.
another song i had to track down was the Cat Stevens song 'If You Want To Sing Out" great song. i think it's in the episode with the circus freaks. again, perfect for the episode.
so many great characters on that show! even, and especially, the minor characters
it's too bad they don't rerun the shows in order in your market. it was soooo cool to watch the characters come into their own as the show progressed.
