Ok, last night I'm making chicken jerusalem. I need some chicken stock, and I have lots of homemade in the freezer, so no problem. But instead of chicken stock, I pulled out a shrimp stock I made a few weeks ago and forgot about. I didn't notice, even after I defrosted it in the microwave. I added it to the recipe in progress and totally ruined it. I had to throw it away, wash the pan, chop up the onions and stuff and start over. And i was already starting dinner late! d'oh! I always have tons of chicken stock, and only chicken stock, on hand. In fact, it's a nuisance b/c it takes up so much room in the freezer. The one time I make shrimp stock, I forget about it and ruin my whole recipe!
