I saw this last night. No, I see no justification for any grown man to beat a child. Particularly one that is already down on the ground. I sure hope he gets what is coming to him and perhaps look into his shootings that were supposedly justified as well. I think his abuse of power is pretty evident and I know if one of the people he shot were one of my family members I would be asking all sorts of questions.

I agree 100% Tara. I think what he did was horrible. It's really petrifying to watch this large grown man beat a small 16 year old girl and then watch him plead not guilty.
I know being a cop is not a "fun" job, but that guy has a serious anger problem and does not belong in law enforcement.

That's awful... I realize there are two sides to every story but how can the sheriffs office even try to say the video doesn't show both sides? They say she got "lippy".. well what teen girl doesn't? Was she biting them? Kicking them in the "hoo hoos"? What do they think justifies their reaction?
