Some weeks are certainly better than others... This week I've recieved two checks from Opinion Outpost, one from Pinecone. I also posted payment at ACOP and Global Opinion. Gotta' love those fifty-dollar checks! Awesome.

I got $93 transferred to my bank account from Amazon for selling the old workout DVD's and videos that that I'm tired of and don't do anymore. WoW! This is the first time I've tried selling on Amazon and it sure paid off. Now I can buy new W.O., DVD's. I'm happy.

It's so easy to do - I listed about 6 workout videos and DVD's 2 weekends ago and 4 of them sold the next day. They have a 2 week 'hold' period so you can see your earnings in your sellers account, but they hold it there for 2 weeks before transferring it to your bank account. I actually set up a separate, small bank account just for Paypal and this type of stuff. Anyway, my first transfer was last week. The only thing to be careful about is to compare the price of what you want to sell against other sellers. I went kindof crazy and listed a couple VHS tapes for 45 cents (5 cents under the lowest price) because Amazon reimburses you $2.98 for each DVD or VHS for shipping - then I realized I'd be losing about 13 cents on each one. Amazon also has a couple other small charges so I decided not to list any tapes or dvd's for under $1.99. If other people are listing them cheaper, so be it - I'll give mine to the goodwill and take them off my taxes. I also learned what exercise instructors were selling and which weren't. I think as far as movies go, the rarer the better. There are thousands of movies on Amazon and they get priced down to almost nothing because everyone wants theirs to be the cheapest so a little research is a good idea. I recently bought a rare English-made movie that I've always wanted on Amazon - it's a VHS tape and I could probably sell it couple years from now and do well on it as long as there is someone left in the world with a VHS player who's looking for it. GOOD LUCK! Let us know how you do.

Except, you set the price. People don't bid. Also, it's free to list it on Amazon.
