Finally! I am so glad this family finally has some closure. HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A serial killer who died more than a decade ago is the person who decapitated the 6-year-old son of "America's Most Wanted" host John Walsh in 1981, police in Florida said Tuesday. The announcement brought to a close a case that has vexed the Walsh family for more than two decades, launched the television show about the nation's most notorious criminals and inspired changes in how authorities search for missing children. news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081216/ap_on_re_us/adam_walsh

I have always admired John Walsh for the things he has done, since the murder of his little boy. He is an example on how one person can make a difference.
To finally have closure, if one can ever have closure on something like this, must be a blessing. ****** 12-17 Just watched Headline News coverage on John Walsh's press conference yesterday. He said it was not about closure, but it was about Justice. And he told parents, of children whose cases are still unresolved, to never give up.

I have to agree with you.. however if you read through the entire article there is a phsychologist or student or some self professed expert who says that all John has done is "make parents afraid".. Well yep he has.. but personally my take on it is that he has made parents "aware".. Yes that awareness HAS had a negative impact on kids.. BUT we will NEVER be able to quantify how much that "awareness" has HELPED kids..
Really.. how many kids has it saved? We can't say but Im betting that Johns feelings are "if it saved even one"... Im also betting that he has saved more than one by bringing that awareness home..
Do I like it? NOPE... Do I appreciate and understand it? You bet...
