if this subject is near and dear to you and you are concerned about over 500,000 jobs being lost to americans in NOV-2008 alone, while the government continues to try to ram even more illegal workers down our throat, then you can help.
hope this isnt breaking any rules, but there is a site that you can join for free, and send prewritten faxes for free, to your state representatives, etc.
last year alone, they stopped amnesty bills 3 times! Just from average joe and jane americans faxing their state representatives! All for free via this site.

Here is my problem, numbersusa is being pushed very hard by 'Stormfront' you know that gracious group thats has "White Pride World Wide" as their motto. I think I will take a pass on this one. Ahhh, Eileen, don't sugarcoat it. Any search on the Internet will show the organized anti-immigration 'movement,' is principally led by one man, John Tanton; who is increasingly working with racist hate groups, because they spread his message willingly. Illegal immigration A funny concept. Does this mean Native Americans can send everyone they don't want home? But I was born in the US, some may argue. So can children, of illegal immigrants, who are born in the US. So now are we are going to split the families up? Meaning we are going to deportate US citizens too? There are companies that complain that US workers are too costly to hire, hence, outsourcing of many jobs that were once in the US. But many companies complain that US workers are too costly to hire for work to be done in the US, and workers from other countries are willing to come here and do the same work. I have heard many unemployed people in my life say "The job doesn't pay enough" or something similiar. It is sad that they think themselves better than someone who does work for what they consider a pittance. I agree that something must be done about illegal immigration, but leave racism out of it. Postings to join right-wing or even left-wing groups will be exposed here, as my dear friend Eileen has pointed out - she is just nicer than I am. I almost forgot, what is your source of information that the government is trying to ram even more illegal workers down our throat?. And how exactly does that relate to the jobs lost during this recession

Eileen thanks for the info on Numbers.com I didn't know that about them. How did you find out? Ok I will say that I am against illegals and it has nothing to do with racism. I have a very good friend who came to this country 10 yrs ago and just became a citizen. He work 2 jobs for a long time and still does to make end meet. But he did it the right way. These others are here illegally taking jobs and getting welfare, health care, etc at our expense. I talk with a couple of mexicans and they don't want to become citizens because they lose their benefits!!!!!! Now what is wrong with that? ? We have it backwards. We don't get those benefits they get and we live here. So yes I have a problem with it. Yes the american worker has gotten too expensive true but you can blame alot of that on unions!!!!!!! Yes unions had the right idea when they first started but have gotten out of hand. Look at the auto industry as case in point. Now plants are shutting down and people are losing their jobs anyway. Things have to get back to reason!!!!!!! I was just reading about the sex slave trade that is going on all across america. And guess who is doing it. The foreigners. Gang and drugs are here big time. I am not saying american doesn't have it faults believe me. We are just as quility of these crime as others but not on such a large scale as we have now with the foreigners here and it has gotten way out of hand and taxed our legal system our health system etc. I believe that the law that makes a illegal baby a us citizen should be recinded. If I may also say that the foreigners that came over on Ellis Island respected our way of life, supported America, Learned the language and appreciated being here. I will not give up my freedoms because it offended someone that isn't american. That is just my humble opinion everyone.

Louis, you go girl.
WeeBittyThe problem is bigger than my mind can get around.
Just take care not to find easy scape goats, it won't solve anything.
I do know that illegals are a problem of our (US) own making. We wanted the cheap labor and took it; sometimes condoning slavery. This is not an overstatement. Camps were found in Florida were the worker would not be released. It had connection to Dole Co. amnesty international is still trying to fight it in courts.
Drugs are here because we take them as a society. White rich drugs get a slap on the wrist. Poor drugs, go to jail for 10years. As for the sex trade,It is an equal opportunity employer. As a matter of fact one of Mexico's biggest problems with us are the men coming down to take advantage of underage prostitution(normally forced prostitution) Not all men can afford to go to the Far East for this type of adventure, Mexico is Nirvana for these bastards.
Human Nature has some really bad sides. I just want to be one of the cheer leaders looking toward the good side of that nature.
Too serious, hang in there, I know life is hard, don't let it eat you up or make you want to eat someone else up.

Hi Eileen, Yes I would agree with you and I am not looking for a scape goat at all. I just wish the american people would not be so complacent about things is all. That is the only thing. I am interested to know how you found out about numbersusa.com. I am not really good with the internet and stuff so I would like to know so I can figure it out on any others. I am before the internet. I worked with big main frame computers that took up whole climate controlled rooms. Where a disc drive was a 14" platter stacked six high and there were 25 -30 in a room by themselves. That is why I am tone deaf listening to that low hum they emitted for so long. And the tape drives as well. So that is my experience with computers. So I am learn as you go so to speak. That is why this website is so valueable to people like me who don't know how to navigate through the scams and website and aren't that familiar with the computer jargon. I have to ask questions that other people probably roll their eyes at me for asking. Anyway thanks for the post I am just kind of fed up with the whole way things are going and just venting about it. We are an older generation that knew of better times and dont' like to see america going down the tubes like it is doing, is all. I hope you all had a very nice christmas and a safe and great 2009.

Weebitty, We love questions here! No one rolls up their eyes at any questions. I made a long post about Internet Survey Experts, and what were their qualifications. You can access it by clicking here. As far as working with computers in the good old days. I used to love playing the original Empire (Star Trek) game and Karnak, both of which had to be played on a mainframes and had no fancy graphics. My first programs were done using keypunch cards. The designs that were drawn on the side of the card decks, in case a deck was dropped, is now a lost art form. Regarding your question on researching using the Internet, there are a variety of search engines that can be used. Some of the most popular are: AOL, Ask, Google, MSN, and Yahoo. Some people prefer others, but my favorite is Google. I actually use a webcrawler that uses a combination. The way these search engines work is by what you are searching for, so the more specific you are in your words to be used for searching (keywords), the greater your likelihood is of having sites answering you listed at the top of the search results. Example: A search for "Cat" will return a huge amount of results, with the site that has "Cat" mentioned, referenced, linked, and keyed the most times in the first position; whereas a search for "Cat in the Hat" will return results for Dr. Seuss and silly pictures of cats in hats. So if you are curious about an organization like numbersusa, you can search on "numbersusa", "numbersusa affiliates", "numbersusa support", "numbersusa review", etc... Hope this helps, Louis

yes it does and thank you for the info. I use to keypunch those cards does that tell you anything!!!!! Did you know way back when in the late 60's your phone bill was on a keypunch card? I know I use to send them out and sort them by hand. Those were the good old days. I had forgotten about that until you mentioned it. It sounds like you have learned alot since then too. Good for you. Us old dogs can be taught new tricks!!!! Anyway thanks again for the information. I knew I would have someone come up with the answer for me. That is why I love this site. Has anyone checked out Tammys work at home website. I wished Chelle's website had taken off too. It seems like she tried to put alot into it. Well have a good day and thanks again. I will keep checking and if I can't find where to get the answers I know I can always come to you nice folks and you will help. Hope I can return the favor some time.
