I am amazed, my hubby hit the jackpot with coupon handing over order. Price Chopper has a rule that once you have reached the 50% saving mark, they no longer double coupons. They doubled my cereal coupons that said do not double on them. I get great deals all the time but rarely this good on food. I got 3 big boxes of Puffs (we need these, my poor nose....) and I forgot these coupons  2 gallons of milk 1 4lb bag of Iams cat food 4 cans of Iams cat food 2 boxes of Bagelfuls 8 boxes of General Mills cereal 8 boxes of Quaker simple harvest granola bars 1 roll of Marcel 2 refill packs for Bic Soliel 1 can of Gillette shave gel 2 large sour creams 3 cans of Folgers coffee total was 111.98after sales and coupons total was 43.32 PLUS if you buy 35.00 worth of PG items you got 10 off next order (catalina) I spent exactly 35.40 So grand total was 33.32 |

Great Job! I got a super great deal on the 15/$30 catalina deal yesterday but it was an accident so can't really brag... haha

Mine either.. I wish they did.. for those who have a safeway, I know they come out with a doubler coupon and the competitors like Albertsons take it and will double up to a certain amount with it.

His work is near the store, it's on the way. Home is 25 mins away. I blame gas prices, honestly it's easier to send him late at night after work than it is for me to go with both kids and drive to where he is anyway, lol.

The best part is they also offer gas rewards. 10 cents off for every 50. It takes a while since my goal is to have the lowest bill but it adds up, the expire in 6 months I think. Hubby will fill his truck and the wheeler tonight for 1.79 a gallon (we are currently at 2.39). The truth is I find the best deals here, I use to do all the shopping at Walmart because Price Chopper was over priced, and well they are for the most part but not that I know how to work it I feel like I'm robbing them, lol. I think they feel the same way. I had to fight for 5 of the 10 in the Catalina's above- it only printed 5 so I called the manager and explained that I was over 30 like required but only got 5 (they pulled the receipt too) and they gave me store credit for the other 5 but she gave me attitude like didn't you save enough? never The way I see it the sorting and the clipping and matching, I work hard to save that money and dang it I am entitled. |
