Westmore Independent is looking for 70 new telecommuters for full time employment as an inbound customer service representative from your home office, no experience required, we will train you. Perfect for students and stay at home moms.

Hours per week: 40-45
Pay scale: $14.75 per hour ($ 0.75 cent shift differential for 11.00 p.m. - 7.00 a.m. shift totaling $15.50 per hour)

These things crack me up. All you have to do is read his "ad" and you should run the opposite direction as FAST as possible. I guess there are those people who want to believe it though and consequently, will pay the money. Sad, really.............

FYI
Any background check that costs $39.99 is trash. They are running you through a commercially available data base that reports felony convictions or maybe misdemeanor convictions on a national level however it does not cover all states. Most criminal record depositories are maintained on a county level and there are over 3,000 counties in the United States. There is no way possible to do a complete and thorough background on anyone for that price. A thorough background can easily costs several thousand dollars depending on how many different jurisdictions the person has lived and worked in.

If they are asking you to pay $20.00 for the background than ask yourself why are they not asking you to pay the full costs. Chances are they are not running anything and just pocketing your $20.00. Besides, what if you do have a criminal background history, does that mean you can not answer a phone for them and make nice to their customers? I'd prefer to see an ex-con doing honest work for a change.
