My walking partner probably thinks I've abandonded her. Since I've started working this job, I haven't walked once. I'm just too tired at the end of the day. I don't think I could make it even 2 yards, let alone 2 miles. LOL I call her every day and I've told her that once my body gets used to this new routine I'll start walking with her again. I feel so guilty. She says that she tries to walk, but she doesn't do as much as we used to because she just can't get motivated. I hope I can get back to it.

Don't feel guilty! That is a sure fire way to stop. You are handling it just right.. There are SO many days I fall "off the wagon" but every new day I look at as a starting over day.
This week I haven't lost any weight BUT I have maintained the weight I have lost and not gained.. that is a GOOD thing.. If I have to "start over" tomorrow.. no biggie..

Thanks, Connie for the encouragement. I'm so worn out, but I know that I can't stop now. I'll get it soon. Tomorrow is my day off, so i'm hoping that I'll feel up to going out then. We'll see...just sitting around sounds good right now. lol

Can you walk on your days off? One of my friends works 10 hours days. She's just too tired to walk after work. But we do walk on the weekends when she's off.

That's what I'm hoping to do. I'm not sure what my schedule will be right now and I'm so exhausted right now from it that I don't know that I will feel up to it for the next week or so. I'll get it though. I'm determined!! lol Walking has become an important part of my day and I can't just let it stop. It's not only the walking, but the company. We both just vent and talk through our day. It really helps to unload and know someone cares and is listening.

Relief for the body and the soul. You are right.. it IS important. You WILL get it all figured out and able to make it a priority again real soon. Just getting used to the new schedule so you know what is going on each day is 90% of the battle.
