Wow. I subbed for one of the PE teachers today and she had every class walk laps around the school. 2 laps is a mile. We do block scheduling so there are only 4 classes a day. I walked with each class and took 2-3 laps each time. I walk every day and so I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. But I'm exhausted now!! Maybe it's because I did 5 miles when I normally only do 2. I thought that because they were spread out, then it wouldn't be that bad. NOPE!! I had to call my friend and tell her that she was on her own tonight because I had my share of walking. I did offer to go to the park and sit on a bench and watch her. LOL She didn't think that it would be as much fun if I did that.
