freebieforce a scam? No I don't think it's a scam because you get something for your money.. HOWEVER... have you SEEN this new business? People are paying $9.95 a month for the SAME freebies you can get here and on other boards for FREE!!! I don't get it... lol... you can also recruit and sign up a downline of course... crazy... why didn't I think of this? I don't even have the freebie section locked out for guests! Hmmm maybe I should start charging for access?... j/k of course!

I am a member but obviously not for the freebies but for the opportunity to build a downline and make some money from it. I would think others get into this one for the same reason. Maybe we aren't so dumb but we'll see! PM me for a referral link!

Christine, I think your signature says it all You're selling the opportunity to sell the opportunity. This is called a pyramid. This is a classic pyramid. You get 3 to join, who then get three to join and thus the pyramid is built. Should you never recruit, you'll never earn a dime. You must recruit in order to earn money. That puts this opportunity on my scam list. While I'm certain they'll give you a few samples/freebies to request, there is no guarantee you'll get the freebies and as Connie said you're paying for something that is available to others free of charge.

Well of course you have to recruit people to get paid... I didn't think I could join, sit back and never do a thing and then receive a paycheck. I look at it as it is my job to sell the service and the opportunity. I have to work just as any other job out there requires you to work. Just as my recruiter recruited me because I wanted to possibly make money, that's who I plan to recruit. I've been a member of lots of boards where they list freebies so it's not like I was like "Wow, freebies? Cool!". I new better than that.
Now what I think is sad is when other mlm companies require you to put up hundreds or thousands to join and don't guarantee you can make anything. I think $9.95 is a much smaller risk to take and if after a couple months it looks like it's not going anywhere than I will quit because you can quit anytime. It'll take me 10 months to pay out $100 and I doubt that I'd stay with it if after 2-3 months if I don't have enough recruits to pay my montly membership! So what's the risk? $20-$30. But if it works out and I have a lot of recruits who are also recruiting than it can be very profitable! I already have two recruits and I started 3 days ago. It's not too hard to find people who are willing to work to make money and will look at it the same way!
Of course we'll agree to disagree and of course no hard feelings. I like hearing others points of views but for this one I will have to be proven wrong to believe it.

Christine, I'd like to suggest you read the following from the FTC www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/pyrdalrt.shtm The simple defination of a pyramid. If you never recruited anyone could you make money? In your case the answer is no. In a legitimate MLM company such as Avon, MaryKay, Discovery Toys and yes even Tupperware, if no one new were ever recruited would you make money? You bet you would. In fact, without the sales of these products, there'd be no company.

Jamie,
Just to be clear from my perspective. I don't mind paying for something that could be free. For example, for many years I've paid a cleaning girl. I could've done it myself and saved the money but I chose to pay someone.
If someone pays for a list of freebies versus searching them out on their own, I'm fine with that. What I'm not ok with is the business aspect of it, selling the opportunity to sell an opportunity. I guarantee it will be shut down in time.

We've all seen the pattern over and over again. Something new comes along. Everyone jumps on board. Within months or sometimes even a year, the FTC comes along and either shuts them down or enforces rules they just can't meet.
