Today was the day to start walking 45 mins instead of 30.. I SO did not want to go out.. I just feel tired... but I did it!

Way to go. Sometimes it's hard to motivate ourselves to go. Do you listen to music while you walk?

Good job, Connie!! How'd you feel after the walk this time? My shoulders along the back are sore but it's from the dog pulling every which way, not the walk itself. After the walk I actually felt pretty energized and came home and did dishes.. lol. Audrey.. I always meant to listen to music but forgot that I intended to.. lol.. plugging the ipod in right now and won't leave home without it today! Thanks for the reminder.

Good for you Audrey! We just did another 45 mins.. I have to say.. my dog is pretty darn smart... he didn't get to go yesterday because my arms and back were so sore from his pulling and fighting me the day before. Yesterday was also the first time I took my ipod. Apparently he KNEW I took the ipod instead of him.
Today I got the ipod and he looked at me and sat right in front of my feet with a "please take me too" look. I told him okay but no pulling. I hardly knew he was with me today! There were maybe three times that he got excited and started to pull and each time I told him no and he came right back beside me with a lot of slack in his leash.. Yay for him! LOL

I did not work out today. Wednesday and Thursday I went to the gym alone. I"m going out tonight and know I'll be out late so I took a nap. No gym. LOL.

Don't feel bad.. today was the BEST day we have had all week and I decided not to go out for my walk. I have felt so tired and worn out all day and every inch of me just aches... I laid on the couch and watched the recorded versions of Montel....

I did.. how are you feeling? I wasn't tired and sore from walking.. it's a typical PMS thing for me. It sucks but I know it's going to happen which is why I was so dedicated the rest of the week. Plus I had to work Sat which means being on my feet and moving all day so missing one day wasn't a big deal. Today I did a lot of things like hanging laundry, digging holes, plainting, raking etc.. so it's still more activity than normal. It all evens out.
