Today is harder. I think just because I have the munchies and I really want some cheese.. lol.. Oh well.. these things take time.
Breakfast:
2 oz Salmon 2 pts 1/2 cup of salad with tablespoon of vinegar and oil dressing: 2pts
Snack: Sunflower seeds.. (does anyone know the point value for those?)
Snack: 1 celery stalk 0 pts 1/4 apple: 1/2 pt 1 small slice of cheese 2pts
Lunch: 2 oz salmon 2 pts 1/2 cup of salad/dressing 2 pts
Snack: 1/4 apple 1/2 pt 1 piece of chocolate 2 pts
Pepsi: 3 pts
Dinner.. I ended up not liking the fish (halibut) so I only had a couple of bites and a spoonful of pasta about 2 pts
Substituted cereal shredded wheat/milk: 3 pts
Snack, apple/cheese 3 pts
Total: 24 pts! Yay!!!!

Connie do you like american cheese? if you do you can find really low fat slices that taste just like american cheese. they come wrapped in the little paper and everything. i think they are like 30 calories total

I like it okay and will look at it for sandwiches but I am a HUGE cheese lover.. Cheddar, Colby, swiss.. The cheese is the toughest but tonight I DO plan on having tacos and then I won't feel like Im really depriving myself..
I just figured it all out and I can probably have two soft shells tacos for a total of 6 pts... This is awesome... I am taking Audreys advice and bought fat free sour cream... my first willing substitution so we will see how that goes!

Day three: Im having sugar withdrawls.. Before the diet I was drinking pepsi most all day. Yesterday I had one... today none until just a few minutes ago... I am grouchy, grumpy, light headed and tired but at the same time I BELIEVE that the diet is working so Im willing to live with it.
Breakfast: 3/4 cup of yogurt 3 pts
Lunch: Lean Cuisine Spaghetti, 5 pts
Dinner: one taco 4 pts
Pepsi, 4 pts
I will be having another pepsi and a shot to go with it.. 6 pts
(at the end of the day, ate one taco instead of two but had a second drink.. so 26 pts in the end)
26 pts for the day!

Connie,
If you don't like the fat free sour cream, try low fat instead. Really...once you get some of that fat out of your diet, you'll find your sugar cravings way down!!

The fat free really wasn't bad at all.. I couldn't tell the difference except in the consistency which is no biggie. I just always use whole foods for the nutritional value which doesn't really count I guess when you are dieting. I do refuse to use the fake sugars.. I just have always had a bad feeling about them. I WILL be glad when all the sugars are out of my system and my body is normal. I really don't crave them but Im getting that "low sugar" feeling.. as soon as I had a pepsi today they went away.

Day four: Not too bad today. I think it's because I ate something more substantial for breakfast and it held me over well until lunch. Breakfast: A big taco well it had more meat than the one for dinner.. 6 pts No snacks Lunch: I was supposed to have a lean cuisine pizza but dropped it on the floor while I was cutting it So back to the tacos.... about 3/4 of a small taco: 4pts

Im not real sure about the pizzas.. I didn't get to eat it but it looked funny.. lol.. will have to try it again.
Day Five: 32 points.. (ooops)
Day Six 25 points and I am realizing I just might have to give diet pepsi a try again or another one.. I just don't have the willpower to give it up and even moderation is too many points.
Day Seven: The good news: The jeans that last week were VERY tight.. are comfortable today! Yay!
Breakfast: 3 pts
Lunch: 5 pts
Dinner: 8pts
Snacks: 4 pts
Total: 20 pts... wow.. guess I made up for Sat.

Yayee!! Connie thats GREAT about the jeans!! I'm excited for you!! Ok, so we were SUPPOSED to start today, but it takes a bit of preperation for all the food, so were gonna start tomorrow. I'm actually pretty excited about it!

Thanks everyone.. that's exactly how Im looking at it.. In fact Im thinking it might be more realistic to have a weekly point goal instead of a daily.. for instance 175 pts a week would average out to 25 points a day... what do you think?
NO PEPSI yesterday and I didn't even faint... Did notice I was sure craving some candy... had 5 m & m's.. and Im now paying attention for "Ferguis sigh".. lol.. She is right.. it happens! Kaelynn Im really excited to start seeing how your's works.. Good luck!

Ok.....so Connie, I'm in the Middle of Day One ( we had to cook stuff yesterday). This morning I had my smoothie (it wasn't too bad) I also had one of those for my mid morning snack. For lunch, I had 2oz of chicken breast and 1/2 cup of rice, with a salad. Ok, well the rice about KILLED me, I have to figure something out to put on it thats on plan so it doesnt taste so bad. I'm eating the same thing for my afternoon snack but w/o the salad. I'm also drinking the 100oz of water (I'm at 50 right now working on the second bottle) I'll let you know how better I fair tomorrow. Alot of people are losing 5-6 lbs in the first two days, but I account that to being water weight and the fact that your flushing your system out
