I know there are several threads about getting starting blogging, where to sign up, and the basics, but I have a few different questions.
I want to start blogging, but I don't know what to blog about? How do you come up with what you write about? What if it isn't interesting to others?
I really want to start blogging, but can only think of a couple things to get me started. I have ideas, but not sure how well they will go over.
How can you tell (before you embarrass yourself) if it will be a good read or not?
Is there a limit to how much you write or don't write? And same question for the pay sites?
Is it better to start on your own site vs. a pay site?
Would anyone be willing to coach me through a blog? What I mean by that is if I wrote up my first article, would someone be willing to look at it to review it and give me the constructive criticism so I can learn and succeed (and hopefully no one steals it if it is good LOL)?

Hi Deni.. I was just thinking... did I tell you about mom gadget yet? Here is the link: www.momgadget.com/forum/index.phpGayla is fantastic and this forum is full of bloggers who know everything about blogging. I only mention it because I know you want to get it right the first time and you might get answers about blogging faster there than here. I visit her forum whenever I have a question.

Love what you do and do what you love. Find a topic you're knowledgeable about. It's makes it that much easier to blog. If you want to earn from your blog, my suggestion would be to purchase a domain name. I've heard a lot of good things about Gayla's forum so I'm sure you will find all the answers to your questions.
