Well, I just couldn't stand the Quick Blog through GoDaddy, so I finally found some time to get set up on Blogger. I couldn't optimize the Quick Blog. I really like Blogger so far. I only have the one article up today, but am planning on having several more up by the end of the week. I'll be putting one in with a link back in the next day or so. Just wanted to say again Connie how much I appreciate all your time and advice. Never would have started any of this without the confidence your info and input has given me to try. Thanks again #large-smiley-056# Give it a look see - www.pungostrawberries.blogspot.com

Thanks Connie!
I have a quick question that you may or may not be able to answer. I have installed Statcounter on all of my sites and am having some trouble as it appears that several of the IP addresses that are showing up are me. I'm not sure how to isolate them. I know how to block them, but need to know for sure which ones are me. Do you know how to do this? Why would my computer repetitively use the same 2-4 IP addresses?
Thanks for any input!

Well Im a little stumped. I thought that each computer only had one IP address? Im afraid I have no advice on this.. I use qumana for all my posts so I know that when I see the blogger address in stat counter that it was me. I need to check.. I am thinking you should be able to go to your blog and then look at stat counter and if the time is the same it would be you... Honestly.. I don't worry about my own showing up... I just look for the links from other places.. Im telling you.. I am one LAZY blogger!

LOL. Thanks for the info. I also look for where the links come in from, but a lot of them are "no referrer" or they have blogger in the address so I assume it's from me accessing it from my account. It doesn;t really matter. There's not really any traffic yet. Hopefully, one day I'll have more than 2 unique users a day so it won't really matter if I am 2 or 3 of them ;D

That's kind of how I look at it! When you see the blogger address it can be from the post being published or from another blog.. you can always click on the link and see where it takes you.. I do that a lot..

With Statcounter (which I thought you used, thought I saw it in a post once), the cool thing is that you can see the location of each reader on a map. It's pretty neat, though I haven't figured it all out yet.

I do use statcounter and really like it. I don't think I have looked at the map? Usually I just take a quick look at stats, recent came from and sometimes the totals for where they are coming from.
