What are your thoughts on setting reserve prices. A few of my items recently went for $.01 because I didn't set one. But I don't want to detract people from bidding either.
Do you set reserve prices for your items?

This is a tough question! personally I won't bid on items with a reserve because I don't like trying to guess. I would rather see items set with the minimum amount you are willing to accept or even a little less and go from there. That is how I price my items. There is also the option of going ahead with the low starting bid and then if you have no bids at a certain point in time you can cancel the auction and start over.

You will get the hang of it. Read through some of the other threads here. There is a lot of good information and some even concerning just this is problem. I remember when one of my items went at the last minute for a penny and it drove me nuts. I learned here that I could have just ended the auction early. haha.. live and learn right?
