Add 3 tablespoons of liquid fabric softener to 25 ounces of water in a spray bottle.
Add 3 tablespoons isopropyl rubbing alcohol and it becomes the alergen reducer kind. Also great as a wrinkle reducer spray! The alcohol helps it dry quickly. It also makes it evaporate quicker. So I use it all the time.

This is a great one! Thank you! With a dog and kids I buy a lot of febreeze and I have one with asthma. I am going to try this!

Has anyone tried this yet? I have some "real" febreeze left and as soon as that is gone I am going to try this!

I'd like to try it too. I have a big nasty dog that waits until we leave and then naps on the couch.

I too am waiting for the bottle of febreeze to run out. I need to get some liquid fabric softener too. The dog has made the whole carpet stink something fierce. I am going to get out the steam cleaner AGAIN and hope that helps but I think I will need a coverup afterwards anyway.
