For those who don't know the Mountain West Conference has: Air Force Brigham Young University Colorado State New Mexico San Diego State Texas Christian University University Nevada Las Vegas Utah Wyoming But the key part is that the conference is on the verge of having an automatic BCS berth; which would happen if San Diego State or New Mexico played better. right now both team are dragging the Mountain West computer ranking way down.

Which is why they want us! haha.. Just kidding.. We are also hoping for that automatic berth Im sure! I didn't realize Colorado State was in the conference as well.. isn't that where Hawkins went to Coach? If so...I would say there are dragging the conference down considerably! Yeah I could go look it up but I will just wait to hear from the experts Ohhh TCU is in there too! Does that mean we won't get stuck playing them in a BSC bowl again? hehe

It good to see them in more of a big time conference. It will be interesting to see how they do over the next few years since they won't be playing a steady stream of St. Mary's All Girls Lacrosse teams. I was kind of hoping they would have joined the Pac 10 but it looks like the Big 12 is coming over College ball is the best ;D

I am so excited but at the same time a little worried.. It's like going from being a salesman to a manager.. can you do it? Eeek... I hope we can and it will be exciting to watch at least!

So there goes one of the more prominent teams of the Mountain West, which further decreases the chances of the league getting a BCS berth, as Utah has had a winning percentage.
Now Utah hasn't been the premier team in the Mountain West, and I wonder how they are going to fare in the PAC-10, which doesn't have slouch teams like Wyoming or San Diego State. They may get more money for their program this way, but the big question is can they hang with the big boys?
But then again, isn't that one of the questions about Boise State, year after year.
And then there's Nebraska or Missouri going to the Big 10, but that will be next year to talk about.

I saw today that Utah went to the pac 10. I don't see that as having a huge impact on us.. BUT yesterday I did realize that we were supposed to play Nebraska in 2014.. I was REALLY looking forward to that game!
I don't understand a lot about how these conferences work but I hope we will still get to play that game.
The Vandals opening game I believe this year is against Nebraska... How in the heck do they get to play them before we do?
