OK, I'm a guy that actually LIKES commercials (good ones, anyway), but I've had it up to here with commercials in movie theaters!
I swear I must've sat through 10 or 15 minutes of commercials, and then several movie trailers before they finally started the movie I paid way too much for.
It took so long the popcorn was gone! What's up with that?
Plus, the stupid commercials included a really long behind the scenes look at the new NBC drama Trauma. OMG what a lame-o show! The acting was SO bad it was mind-boggling. I've seen high school productions with far better acting. It was so rediculous I almost thought it was a parody of a rescue-type show.
Worst...show....ever!
I just saw a commercial on TV for the show, too. Dear god those people are the least talented actors I have ever seen on a primetime show.
OK, vent over.

Nice vent I agree with the whole commercial in movies rant. Maybe there should be a whole Vent Thread I've got a few

Really? I usually only see one or two commercials and then a bunch of trailers. And I love the trailers, so I can't complain about that. But then again, I haven't been to the movies in a month or two so maybe it's changed.
And a vent thread would be a great idea! Then on those days when I'm home all day, I could just come here instead of loading all my problems onto my dog, lol.

Tivo & DVR's have changed the way companies advertise. In my opinion, we see a lot more product placement in movies than we did before. People fast forward through commercials so much that they have to advertise their goods somehow.
I guess they thought hey, what better captive audience than those in a movie theater.

I've got to go along with OC; the marketing folks have to fine a way to get people to watch their commercials, I for one always zoom through them with my DVR. I don't mind the commericals as much as the TV show come on.
