I posted this and it did not post so I will give it a second try.
I thought the Chiefs were going to win this game.
Good game. Chiefs looked really good. Pre season. Just is hard to know though by watching pre season games.
Well I am excited and enjoyed the game.
Brett F looked a bit old.
Like Brett and he is a darn good quarterback. We will see how it works out for the Vikings and signing him. See if he can stay healthy.

Pre-season means very little. Can't take to much away from watching any of the games. Remember, Detroit won all 4 pre-season games last year and then went 0-16. Seattle is playing tonight and I think I will have a buddy over to watch and drink beer-gotta love football season! I just checked the paper and saw the Hawks play Denver! THis should be fun. I hope they crush 'em, even if means nothing.

It's going to be interesting to see how the Chiefs and Bronco's do this football season with new coaches and quarterbacks. We all may be surprised. You just never know what can happen. I believe in Miracles. For the Chiefs I believe it will take a Big Miracle for them to do really well. Like the playoffs. Or maybe just to win a few. Yes I am very disappointed in the Chiefs. I grew up in Okla. when the Sooners were the best. I have since lived in Iowa, Texas and Minnesota. Now I live in Kansas City. Never could be a true Texas fan because of being an Okie. Minnesota has looked better than the Chiefs. But have not lived in a state where I had a winning football team since way back when with the Sooners and College football. May need to move. Who's going to the Superbowl?

Who's going to the Superbowl? It is my considered opinion that the two teams, one from each conference, that do not lose a playoff game will be in the Superbowl.

Hey! I didn't say a word after Seattle destroyed the Broncos. Actually, the Broncos offense looked really good in the first half-until Orton threw a ridiculous pass that was intercepted. The Seattle defense looked bad and they better improve fast or it will be a long year. Seattle picked up Edgerrin James. He is 31 and is probably on the decline but hopefully he has a year left in his legs.

Hey it is still pre season. We are all fired up but it will get much better.
I just have a feeling the Chiefs and Broncos are going to do well. Maybe it will take a couple of years to be playoff teams but you just never know.
I think probably the Bronco's just played bad to throw everyone off. ;D
Now I will not be talking kindly about Denver once we get going with the REAL games that count. We owe those Bronco's from way back with those Elway comebacks in the last minutes of the game.
Oh and I hear the Vikings have a very easy schedule.

LOL. Actually nothing is easy at the Pro level. When I was going to the University of Minnesota, I knew a guy who played football for the Gophers, and then went on to the Pros. He kind of made playing at the Pro level look easy, and he played for Denver. His name is Karl Mecklenburg, and he is bigger in person.

Louis Boy the pro players are big. I lived in Mankato for a while. My ex graduated from Mankato State, We ran into a few Viking Players there in Mankato. Very big guys. Maybe being big makes it easier. ;D I have to give what you post a bit of thought. I hope I am following what you are trying to say to me I realize I am a woman talking to a couple of guys about football. Just trying to have some fun posting in this thread. Love football and think I understand the game. Am a bit slow these days on following all the teams and what is going on. While the Chiefs were doing so poorly got into college ball while my daughter was in school. Go Tigers Will try and post intelligent posts but who knows my posts may come across as a woman who does not understand the game. Anyway I am a fan of football and do enjoy.
