Im sure I could google and look it all up but Im willing to bet we have someone here who can just tell me.
Who is going to be our new quarterback? Kyle Orton.. Anyone know anything about him? Does he have at least 1/4 of the talent of Cutler? I was never a huge fan of Cutler but he was showing some real promise.

I know a lot about him, because he used to be a Big Ten QB (Purdue Boilermakers). He was drafted by the Chicago Bears, and played there from 2005 to 2008. He was pretty good there, but got a couple of injuries. Actually, I thought he was going to be the Bears starting QB this season.
But Denver traded Cutler for him and some high draft picks. Orton has been improving, so this may have been a wise choice for Denver, as long as the line can protect him.

Well Connie the Chiefs and Broncos will be interesting to watch this year. Such rivals too. My husband and I could not remember the name of our new coach earler today. My husband was kidding and said he thought the coach was Billie Elway. After tonights game I will remember his name, I was impressed.
I know you would like to have Elway right now. I sure am glad as a Chiefs fan you don't have him. I remember those games against you guys with John playing. LOL

Connie, hate to break it to you but the talking heads on ESPN radio are predicting 4 to 7 wins this year for Denver. Too many changes with the team all at once. As a Seattle fan, don't get me started with Elway! Blah!

Kansascity, Oh man I rememebr some AWESOME games between KC and Denver when Elway was playing. I lived right on the border in Walsh CO and my dad would always pick KC. We had so much fun!

Connie Those were games you just never forget. So exciting. John Elway would win those games in the last two minutes of the game. It was just unbelievable. I hope we both can have some excitement with our teams this year. Am really looking forward to the games and finding out how they will play this season. Good Luck to Denver and the Chiefs. I can't imagine seeing anything as exciting as those games a few years back when John played but we will see.

Oh those days are over! I remember exactly the games you are talking about though. During the one that got us into one super bowl, we were losing, there was just a min or so left.. I gave up and napped for a few secs only to wake up to see the replay of Elway throwing that Loooonnng pass for a touchdown... OMG.. There was just no way that should have happened.. He was just awesome.. that's all there is to it.. haha.. I could make you all sick with my goings on about Elway... just ask my dh..

And all this time, I thought the Elway was one of Denver's mass transit methods. Chicago has the El, New York has the Subway, and Denver has the Elway. Learn something new everyday
