I am not a news hound! I just like to know what going on, so I can plan my ammunition purchases accordingly. (I learned this from the Chelle Chronicles, coming to a bookstore near you soon - or whenever she gets around to writing it ) This sort of thing is nothing new. Bearer Bonds are accepted as cash, provided that they are found to be authentic; which is the kicker. If a bank accepts bearer bonds without checking the authenticity, then the bank becomes liable for it's own losses and any funds transferred have to be returned. IMHO: Flooding a market with accurate counterfeit currency is much more dangerous, because it will devalue the existing currency and the loss gets spread out to the populace. If you try to deposit a $100 bill you received from a customer, and then the bank informs you that it is counterfeit, the loss is yours. If this occurs too much, trust is lost in the currency and other means of payment will only be accepted, or cash will be accepted, but at a rate lower than its actual value as an insurance to the vendor and to cover losses incurred from counterfeits. Companies hate losing money, and will transfer loses to the consumer.

Having fun now. Maybe news hound wasn't the right words. How about a very aware, informed individual. does that sound better. And yes about the ammunition too. Did you notice you can't get any of that either??? At least not for hand guns. People are loading up on that too. Another form of gun control. I just thought it interesting about how the government "hides" things from the american people. Particularly what our senate and congress is doing. Transparency my A$$. We will never know the truth of government. IMHO. I wish we could have recalls on people that we elected in if they don't do a good job. Get a recall notice going on them to get them out. And term limits too. This good ole boy system has got to stop!!!
