Is anyone really surprised with the results? I will admit I am a bit surprised by the ignorance of the ruling party's ballot stuffing. Not just in one or two cities, but in over a 100 cities, the official count of votes for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad exceed the total population of those cities. Maybe this will be explained away by saying the census numbers are wrong. Today's speech by Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is also no surprise. He declared Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the winner within hours of polls closing, even though there was not time for the millions of hand cast votes to be counted. The Iranian Ayatollahs never admit that they were wrong, because they are blessed by Allah and to admit a mistake would make them less than perfect. However, it really doesn't matter, because they lay the blame of the election unrest at the feet of the United States and Israel. Good, because now maybe President Obama will stop kissing up to swore enemies of the United States... Or will he

I found it amusing that he spent practically his whole campaign trying to convince everyone that he is Christian, NOT Muslim. Yet during his recent Middle East trip, he was speaking Arabic & citing text from the Quran. Once again, speaking as if he is still pandering to voters.
