Crock Pot: Mexican Ribs Recipe
3-4 lbs. beef short ribs 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef consomme (or use a combination of beef boillion cubes and water) 1 pkg. Taco Seasoning Mix Salt and Pepper to taste 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
In a large frying pan, brown the ribs, pour off any excess fat. Mix beef consomme with dry taco seasoning mix and then throw in your chopped green pepper, salt and pepper. Put the browned ribs into your crock pot and pour the sauce over them. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Have you made these Shelly? I have two packs of short ribs left. I have tried two different short rib recipes but wasn't really impressed. This one sounds like it has a completely different flavor and I WILL be trying it!

Well, I don't guarantee anything as all of our taste buds are different, but I can say that my family likes the recipe and we make it 2-3 times every year.
