This one got me because it was from The Coca Cola Company (that's what it showed anyway) and the Subject line: REF: GML-S343-KKT-8811 and BAT: 56T-DTH78-SAR99
Of course after reading it... duh... they are just getting tricky enough to get me to open them now!

Nice! I once won the Neptune Pepsi sweepstakes, but I'm still waiting for the prize to show up (Neptune is a long ways away). You would be surprised by the number of people who still fall for these things and then report it to law enforcement. Not a thing we can do to get their money back-very sad.

Yeah, I get them all the time. Companies like Coke, Toyota, Yahoo. As if these companies have gmail accounts. I sure hope all our forum family are on to these fake sweepstakes winning trash.

Oh I forgot, in a simalar vane, there is a bogus email saying it is from the FBI going around. Totally bogus, but it sounds official. Stay clear of it.
