I think history will be much kinder to him than people were during his Presidency.
I can't help but wonder what morons like Keith Olbermann and John Stewart will talk about now that Bush is out. I guess they'll spend their shows, like the rest of the media has for a few months now, waiting their turn to plant their lips firmly on the butt of Obama.

You must not even watch Keith. Where he still has his segment 'Bushed' slightly modified to 'Still Bushed' as there will be repercussions from the last 8 years for years to come. He is being quite critical of President Obamas actions so far. Especially his seemingly "naive" need to get Republican approval. There are no free passes with Keith, and where I find him over the top very often, at least he has a great record of fact checking stories, and correcting mistakes.
As for Jon Stewart, he is a comedian, you knew that right. He finds funny in everything, that's his job. President Bush just made it easier.
As for History, I really don't think so. He might be a good man, but he was a terrible Chief Executive.

You're right, I do not make it a point to watch Olbermann. He's a sorry excuse for a journalist (who doesn't deserve to be called one) and should have stuck to being a sportscaster. As someone who's more independent minded (politically) I like to tune in to more than one show on more than one channel to hear both sides. But Keith is beyond biased and can only be stomached by lefties. On several occasions I'd be flipping through the channels and come across Keith's show, so I'd pause. It would take literally 30 seconds to a minute before he's ranting about Bush, no exaggeration. If I can randomly come across his show at any given time and discover that he's STILL whining about Bush, then the poor guy needs some better writers and needs to seriously reconsider his roll as a "journalist."
Wasn't it Obama who said it's time for a change? Face it, without Bush bashing, mainstream media has nothing to talk about. Joy Behar, from The View, was asked if she'll be able to make fun of Obama. She said no, he's perfect. You want to talk about comedians, there's one for you. She started her career as a stand-up yet is so left leaning that she refuses to make fun of Obama. Not much of a comedian.
"They're only comedians." Give me a break. That's what everyone says about Stewart & Franken. "It's only satire." I can laugh at some of Stewart's stuff because I appreciate humor in all forms, but you know as well as I do that they are not just trying to be funny. They are pushing their own agenda.

Everyone pushes their own agenda, you do I do.
As for Joy, she like Obama a lot, she does make jokes about him. Go see her two women show up New England. But who cares basically Joy and Elizabeth are used as bookends of ideology.
As for Franken, he is a writer, comedian, activist and now de facto Senator from MN. OMG their taking over the world.
