Illinois Governor, Rod Blagojevich, was arrested this morning after a corruption investigation. Blagojevich is accused of trying to "auction off" the vacant IL Senate seat to the "highest bidder." Looking to benefit from the person he appoints by putting someone in the seat who was willing to do more for & pay more to himself and his family.
Blagojevich's preprocessor, George Ryan, was sentenced to prison after being convicted on racketeering and fraud charges during his time as IL Sec. of State & Governor. When Blagojevich took office in 2003, he promised to clean up Ryan's mess. Great job on that, by the way. LOL
Isn't "being corrupt" a job requirement when it comes to politicians??
This clown has been running this State into the ground...send him up the river!!

Agreed... the more I read, the more I have to agree.. It really does seem like all politicians are involved in things they really shouldn't be. I spent one whole day learning about the "Bush crime family"... I KNOW it sounds funny.. but it seems to be true.. from drug running to mafia ties, to all kinds of other bad bad things...
