Q. Why do terrorists attack? A. To get attention to their cause. Q. Why do terrorists attack when they do? A. To get attention to their cause. Q. What is the difference between terrorists and insurgents? A. Anymore, very little, as insurgents now use terroristic tactics to raise money; be it kidnapping, piracy, robbery or mercenary work. Now for the recent attacks in India. There are many terrors groups in India, so it is too early to tell who is responsible. I do know that, whomever they are, they have received a lot of attention this time. Maybe they will be dealt with like the Al Qaeda-linked South East Asian terrorist network Jemaah Islamiyah (JI), which has by-and-large, ceased to exist as a major threat. I believe John could tell us more, on what his country has done. I feel bad for the victims and their families...

I am absolutely heartsick over this. I've been praying since I heard of the attack last night. There are still people who have not been heard from and we do not know their fate at this time.
For those who pray, please continue to pray for the victims and their families.

I so remember when I first heard of this.. by the end of the first day I remember telling my dh, "I don't get it, the numbers keep going up".. (I thought it was a one time attack).. then I saw the news the next day and the numbers were up to over 80 and I understood.. I watched the people trying to get away and heard of the people holed up in their rooms..
How devasting and sad.. I am praying for the victims and their familes and hoping there isn't any more devastation.
