I am curious to know how getting paid to read works. Can anyone point me to an explanation or explain how you get paid and where you find the things to read? I am very new to this. Thanks.

Hello there. Welcome back! Are you asking the basic concepts and principals of how "getting paid to read" works? I'd be happy to explain on how I first saw it. Basically one person knows as the advertiser, would spend a money say (this just an example ok?) $10 to get their advertisement in their site or in people's inboxes. So the question is, where does this $10 go? Simple, it goes to people who read it. So when someone reads it, they will get paid a fraction of it usually $0.01 or fractions of a cent. The amount varies depending on how much they paid to get their ad on there and where it would be located or if it is in e-mail. Usually "paid to read" implies on e-mails, like an advertisement is sent through e-mail and you get paid for reading it (clicking a special link in that e-mail) So that's the flow of money in the world of "paid to read". Hope I explained it well. I'd love to be corrected.

Yes, that was a pretty good description of how it works, but I still don't see that there is very much money to be made doing this?

Yeah there really isn't. What makes it up really is in quantity. Some sites have tons of paid to reads and they just add up.
The second is your downline. Most programs allow you to refer members so that when they read something, you get a small fraction of the earnings.
Quantity plays an important role again when it comes to downline, say you invite 10 people and they all check out those paid to read's. You'll earnings will go up rapidly even if you don't do anything. And if the quantity is plentiful in paid to read content, you can earn some dollar level amounts instead of mere cents.
Most of them have a pretty steep minimum payout requiring some tedious, but easy work. Of course if you want to earn more you'll need to find something that offers more than paid to read. Paid to read pays little simply because its easy to do.
