I just started this blog yesterday and updated it today with some content on what I've been working on the past couple months. I'm finally comfortable enough to "advertise" so here we go. Here is a link to my new blog. It's all about "Freebie Trading" and anyone familiar with Project Payday would get know what I'm talking about. I don't remember specifically how I found this. But I needed cash and this was the easiest way to make extra money. It was frustrating at times but still worthwhile. Now I'm involved in a "referral race" and first prize is $1500. Do I expect to win? No, probably not. I was in 2nd place at last tally but things have been slow (if anyone wants to help with that let me know ) So I've made about $1000 in the past 2 weeks and have trades pending that add up to another $800. All total the profit was about 70% and since I've only been at this for a couple months and there's a lot of competition that's pretty good. The blog is still in the process of being updated and will be constantly updated. I plan on buying web hosting for it soon. Here's the temp. link to Blogspot freebietradingtips.blogspot.com/2008/07/freebie-trading-what-is-freebie-trading.htmlSo that's that. Feel free to read it over and comment if you'd like I just had an ad pulled from Craigs List so it looks like I made the big time

Unfortunately these offers all cost money. Ok..let's use Blockbuster. They offer a free 7 day trial. So by the time you sign up and get that first movie, your trail is over and you must cancel. Often places require a 30 days cancellation. I'm not sure paying one month for this service is worth getting a few points?

In any business venture there's going to be risks, an investment or out of pocket cost eventually. But you can easily make $60 without spending any money if you do this the right the way. It's all about developing the right strategy and pre-planning for what you're going to do. If you're dong an offer like Blockbuster you have to decide which site you want to do it on. Right now there's a site I trade that I pay $45 for and the site itself offers a $75 pay out for each referral that completes the site. The Blockbuster offer is worth 1/2 a credit out of 1 credit to complete the site. EDIT: freebies4me.net/ (that's the link for the site and not a referral link) I will say this (and this is my opinion), the referral based system is the only way to make money doing this. If you choose to earn points towards your prize it's really not worth it because you'll only save a few bucks. It's also not worth doing if you just want an ipod. You're better off getting it off EBAY. But if you want some extra cash it can work but it might not happen overnight. As I wrote in the first paragraph of the second blog post: "This isn’t a free ride but a great place for beginners to the world of internet marketing and those tired of making other people money. There are many excellent opportunities out there. I recommend starting with freebie trading because it has the lowest out of pocket cost and is easy." I emphasize patience when new people come in and work with me. So let's just say you're just getting starting. I might send you to a site like this one and offers to pay you $20 to "green" (meet the offer requirements) for me: freebiemonster.net/ (not a referral link) and for arguments sake you choose the $120 paypal option (which requires 3 referrals to get the cash pay out). You sign in and go to the offers page. Now choose offers you want to do. I'll choose 2 offers I've done and those are GoFreeCredit.com which is 1/2 credit and the Prostores ADVANCED ONLY Trial (which is an EBAY company). I received credit for gofreecredit in about 5 minutes after completing the offer and ProStores a couple hours later. I wasn't convinced with either service so I canceled them before the end of the trial (which I don't always do). So this is one site you can add to the sites you trade later on when you move on to paying for referrals. So let's say you're paying for referrals. You decide that you want to pay $20 to anyone who completes this site. Three people approach you and offer to complete the site for pay. If all of them green, you pay them $20 each and you just made $60. Add in the $20 you received for completing the site and you just made $80. This is a site that is repeatable so you can cash out from there over and over again. It's not as easy as I make it sound there but that's the basics of how it works. Don't get me wrong, eventually you'll run out of free offers to do but you can get 3 sites completed for $0 and you get paid at least $60 (usually more depending on who you work with) and 5 sites completed with the out of pocket cost of $10-$15. At that point your net pay is about $100 (most traders offer bonuses for repeat business). I'm trying to take a more honest approach to this blog then something like Project Payday would. They have good training videos but they really oversell the product. I'm far from done with this but I've been working on it for a total of 20 hours in the past 2 days and needed a break lol. It's all about developing the right strategy in advance, researching the freebie sites, offers and traders ahead of time and assess the risks and find out if this is something that's right for you. If you're the kind of person who doesn't like giving out your personal information on the internet (including SS#'s) then this isn't for you. If you think you'll be able to not pay a dime to start out then this isn't for you. If you think you can use someone else's strategy 100% of the time and not make something your own or your "baby" if you will then you're not going to make it very far. There's a lot of work and a lot of thought that goes into this and if you develop the right game plan you can make it work.
