Hey Chrissyinc, I was supposed to get paid Nov15 -30. It didn't happen. When I wrote they send they would get on it. On my page the payment date got moved up to dec15-30. Didn't happen. Wrote again and they said they were having problems and would get my cash out to me as fast as possible.
Will keep you informed.
I do a few searches just to keep active but not that much anymore. Dan system seems to work but the site administrators arbitrarily disqualifies searches for who knows what. I was researching survey sites and got called on for that.
I just hope I get paid, I like money and hate wasting time.

Eileen, Thanks so much for the info. and telling me that they have disqualified you also for certain searches. I was beginning to think they had just picked me out. I'm one of those persons that try's to follow the rules to the "T". I was really embarrassed and felt like a child when they came back at me with disqualifying searches. Yes, I hope we both get paid. It dose take time to do the searches and I too hate to waste my time.
Thanks, Chrissy

Just an update, my account on the bottom now says that I will get paid the between the 15-31 of January 2009 for the searches I did in Dec. I have never gotten paid for searches done back in Sept. of '08. I went on a site where you can register for proof of payment for gpt's that pay and sure enough the "Homepages Friends" was there with complaints of no payment to people. This was also a month or so ago. They too had gotten ahold of the owners and either had not received an answer or have not been paid. I'm beginning to think it's a scam for alot of us. They use us for the time and they get paid for our work but do pay a few people so they can say that they do pay.

For a long time Homepages had a good rep for paying its users. I don't know if it is the recession that has hit England as hard as us or what. I keep emailing them, and I get replys saying they are working on it, but so far no money. I think they just don't have the money to pay folks off but are still trying to collect for the searchs from their contracts. It stinks, we are at the bottom, and you know what they say about the bottom and downhill.......

Good afternoon everyone. I've just been informed that the venture is no longer valid for customers within the U.S. If you're living here, don't bother using the service anymore, as it won't earn you any money. From glancing over everything on here since my last visit, it looks like you've all been informed already though. As a result of this recent finding, I'll no longer be endorsing the site, or offering my services in downline building. They claim that they'll still be paying off the balances of everyone owed money, even if they haven't reached the 20 pound minimum.... though they're still apparently WAY behind in their payment schedule, and having trouble securing funds from their backer (guess that would be Yahoo). I HAVE, however, heard from a few people who HAVE been paid since the site fell way behind, so there's still hope. If nothing else, look on the bright side (if there IS one).... at least it didn't COST anyone anything besides some time. Anyways, I've included a link to a page on the Homepages site that lists the countries where you can still make money with the venture: www.myhpf.co.uk/nomore.aspSorry for the inconvenience..... I truly had some high hopes for this simple idea, and assert that I truly DID work on behalf of everyone involved. I too am owed money by the site and in the same boat as several of you. I'll be certain to update all of my other postings and let all current members of the team know. Have a great day, best of luck in all that you do, and if I can be of help in any way, just let me know! -Dan

Hey no worries, new ventures don't always work out. Good intentions are just that, don't ever give up trying to do good and adventurous things. That is how some of the biggest businesses got started. If I ever get paid, I will drop you a line.

I went to make a search today...and they no longer work with people in the US. But, they will be paying out your entire balance if you already have an account and live in the US. It might take months, though, so says their message

I would like to add that Dan sent an email to the people he was working with, and apologized for things out of his control. I agree with Eileen, because nothing ventured, nothing gained. I learned a lot by watching his efforts. Thanks Dan!

Even though this is no longer any good, I have to weigh in on this for when someone else tries this.
Once you are in this scheme, you can't be below anyone. It is a pyramid. If you're putting 9 people below each person you need 9 people for the first level, 81 for the second (9 for each of the 9 above them), 729 for the third, 6,561 for the 4th level, over 59,000 for the 5th level. Sooner or later you run out of people or can't keep up with the work of putting new people into it. What happens to the people on the bottom?
Let's put into real terms. They stopped this for the US. Suppose they had continued it. You work extremely hard and manage to get 6561 people on the 4th level, getting someone below all 729 people above them. Now you need 59,000 new people to fill up the downlines of those 6,561 people.
So you say "if everyone will just keep referring...", ok, let's say you can keep this up another level. Now you need half a million people to fill up the downlines of the 59,000 people. Even if people keep referring, to plug in half a million people you need to put in 1500 a day for a year.
People in early get plugged in quickly. People in late are waiting an exponentially longer time to get people in their downline. If they get them at all. There's only 6 billion people and it doesn't take many levels before there's no more downline.
