Please take all this in the vein it's offer... as help. If you want to make money blogging, even selling stuff on your blog, you will need to invest some time learning how it works. Right now you don't have enough content on your blog for adsense to work properly so you can make money with it. Go to problogger.net and read and then read some more. You will also need need to learn a little (not much) about html and how it works so you can add links to the sidebars of your blog and get a link exchange going. You can also add your adsense to the sidebars and make more money. Will people buy from a blog? Possibly and it's a great idea. I don't see anything wrong with it. You will need to make your blog more professional if you are going to do it though. Set up a link so they don't have to go to your craigslist post to order... While it's true that you need money... well we all do but you shouldn't state that as a reason that they have to order in bulk. If you want customers, you need to make it as easy as possible for them to buy from you and be as professional as possible if you want to earn their trust. Take some time to learn a little about Search engine optimization as well. If you were to google "loreal eye shadow" right now, how many pages would someone have to go through to find out that you are selling exactly what they want? Working online really is no different than working offline and the same rules apply. You've got a good thing going, you just need to refine it a bit. Good luck!

Oh.. one more thing... be honest with people... You have AW surveys as a good place to use as surveys.. maybe you don't know this.. but it's not a good place and there have been lots and lots of complaints. If you promote something as good make sure it is or you won't have return visitors or customers. I could promote HUDNREDS of places as an affiliate and I MIGHT make double what I make now but it would be short lived and I would not get the word of mouth I need to sustain an income because most people would eventually see right through the crap.
I also wouldn't have people who come back here because they trust what I tell them. Just like the outside world.. you NEED to have a good reputation or you will just find yourself closing up shop. This is why so many websites don't make it past a year or so.

Hello, koledust: You have asked the right question: how to get more traffic to your blog page. Although traffic is just one element in the big picture of online marketing, it is a BIG element. You need traffic to make sales. The more traffic, the more sales. Connie has just offered you an excellent selection of suggestions on ways to improve your site, improve your marketing and improve the amount of sales you will get. I am going to offer you a couple of links to blog posts I have made regarding web traffic, search engine optimization, and generating more sales. I have many more blog posts on these topics, but these will give you an overview: Building your email list (important in online marketing): www.starrbizz.com/blog/2008/06/online-list-building-means-getting.htmlTips to help increase your sales: www.starrbizz.com/blog/2008/06/increase-your-sales-with-these-sizzling.htmlWays to get free advertising online: www.starrbizz.com/blog/2008/06/when-it-comes-to-internet-home-business.htmlNeed articles and content for your blog? Overview of Private Lable Content (Private Label Resell Rights articles): www.starrbizz.com/blog/2008/05/whats-word-on-private-label-content.htmlKoledust - here is some friendly feedback on your blog page. There are two comments you make that I would recommend you remove them or change the wording 1) "I AM IN NEED OF MONEY SO PLEASE BUY IF YOU CAN USE THEM!" - This sounds like you are begging for orders and that makes you sound desperate. Maybe you are, but don't tell your potental customers! That could turn them off and it might make them worry that after they send their money, you won't be able to fill the order. 2) "I don't want to waste my time with little orders so to meet I need you sell at least $32.00 worth...thanks!" - You want people to buy! So why tell them you don't want them to waste your time? Some people make a small purchase first to test your honesty and integrity. Once you prove yourself, they will place bigger orders later. But here, you are sending them away before they even have a chance to order from you. As a fellow marketer, I understand what you are saying ... but customers don't care about your problems. This is meant to be friendly, constructive feedback for you. Please don't take it the wrong way and don't be offended. I'm only trying to help you. (We're family, here! GT
