Hi. I noticed on another thread that this company's parent company had been written as gr***f***d so I wasn't sure if I could mention their actual name but if you have done survey's for them you should know who I mean ---
I've been doing surveys for several co.s only about 3 months now but have completed a product test, just been selected for another test, been mailed 2 different checks, and built up points for "prizes" with a couple co.s. BUT the company in questions sends me AT LEAST 2 emails a day. Naturally some survey's I don't qualify to complete but I've completed quite a few. Supposedly they pay by PayPal as one option. My payout report on their site stayed blank until about 2 weeks ago when FINALLY one survey appeared with a payment of $2.00 "pending". Well, after seeing that for about a week, it just vanished. So now I've not been paid for any and have none even pending.
Some co.s are upfront about not paying just a "sweepstakes" etc... and I do plenty of them never expecting anything in return. I'm just a "every vote or opinion counts" person. But if you say you are going to pay even though just $1.00 or $2.00 then PAY.
I'm just curious if anyone out there has actually received any payment from these folks or if they are just playing games.
I emailed their customer service and received no response - I just ignore their survey emails now but I'm sure it is not going to cause them to lose sleep.
Anyone get paid by g*z**g?

I just went back and checked my report and I have been paid 3 times by go**** and each payment was within 8 weeks as promised. However, I believe this was before the other company became involved. Now, I do take a lot of surveys from the parent company and I do get paid but I have always had to send an email and wait weeks for a response, I don't enjoy their surveys too much and rarely qualify but I still try. Just as a heads up they are also the parent company for ciao now as well so will have to see what happens there!

Thanks - at least it shows they did pay someone. It's been more than 8 weeks easily for some of my surveys. I've done a couple for G****f**D also and only qualified for one. Overall, with both these companies I have more trouble than will 10 others combined. I think I'll just unsubscribe.
I don't mind doing some free ones if the people are upfront about it. I'm not going to make rent from surveys or anything. It just is annoying to keep doing 2 - 4 a day (qualifying half the time maybe) with all the promises to pay yet nothing even acknowledged.
Most of the other sites credit you immediately so it can't be some huge task.
I'm rambling ... thanks for the response

Not a problem. I know a lot of people get frustrated with the parent company and I have been sad to see them take over a few other companies. Unfortunately they are becoming a huge part of the survey world and we can only hope they get better about their accounting policies if they want to be a major player. In my case they owed me over 100.00 (the parent company) so it was worth the hassle.
