Not happy with Survey Spot at all. I dq most of the time, and most of the surveys are for sweepstakes entries. I have only 700 points in two months. I've never received any opportunities to get cash or product tests.

I gave up on these guys several months ago. I rarely receive a survey for money and I won't do sweeps of contests. My time is limited, so I concentrate on surveys that lead to cash payouts. (Do you think anyone ever wins those sweeps )

I have to crack up on this one, simply because I felt EXACTLY the way you both do.. I started deleting every survey they sent.. Then one day on a forum I discovered they were sending out a product test that was worth over $1000 dollars.. to keep.. SERIOUSLY.. I went back to find the email and I had deleted it the day before and now the survey was closed.
Every since then I at least give their emails a good glance and if it's not going to take too much of my time, I try.. I really felt a little heartsick after that. In all honesty I have never seen one worth that much since but they do have a lot that are worth over $50 or more. Yep.. I still dq a lot but Im still hopeful!

Don't know if I unjinxed myself by complaining, but for some reason just this week--and only a few days since my complaining post above--I have received more surveys for points from SurveySpot and have dq'd less frequently. I still dq a LOT, LOL, but not quite as much as I was before. I also received unexpected payments/gift certificates from Esearch, FGI Research, Opinion World, and My Survey. Still new to Opinion World, but the other three I was just about to write off as not being worth the time. It paid--literally--to hang in there. After reading Connie's post, I'll definitely read their e-mails closely before deleting them.

I decided to hang in there with Survey Spot, as I finally was able to cash out. I'm wary of them, because I've heard of a lot of other people having problems, however.
I am starting to get more surveys for points and even had a couple of Invokes that I qualified for and completed. I've also adopted the practice of mostly doing the surveys for points and skipping the ones that don't have points. I still occasionally do a survey that is not for points if it is not too long.
I think that Survey Spot tries to test you in the beginning by inundating you with surveys, many of which you don't qualify for or only result in sweepstakes entries. Maybe they figure that most people will quit out of frustration! Now that I've been with Survey Spot for a few months and reached cash out, I am getting fewer total survey invitations, but of those I receive, many are for points.
